The Firm
Our firm celebrated its three-year anniversary in May. Congratulations to our founding partners for building a great team and a successful practice!
On May 4th one of our clients was the first person to graduate from federal drug court. This client was honored at a ceremony by Senator Patrick Leahy, among other dignitaries.
Jordan Kurker has joined our firm for the summer as an administrative assistant.
Hanah Kelly received the Outstanding Senior Award for excellence and leadership in the Legal Studies Program in the Division of Education and Human Services at the honors dinner at Champlain College. Hanah graduated Summa Cum Laude on May 14th with a Bachelor’s of Science in Legal Studies. She is now our full-time paralegal and administrative assistant.
Jill Perras finished her internship with us on May 19th. We wish her the best in her online paralegal studies through Duke University.
Elias Dean completed his internship with us on May 4th. Eli has completed his junior year at St. Michael's College and is going to spend his summer working, taking a course, and studying for the LSAT. Eli is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Creative Writing and Literature. He hopes to go to law school after completing his undergraduate degree.
Mark Oettinger
Mark Oettinger presented at ExporTech, which is a three-day program spread over the course of three months. This program is sponsored by the National Institute for Standards and Technology in partnership with Vermont Small Business Development Center. The purpose is to assist Vermont companies in establishing or growing the export component in their business.
Puspa Luitel
Puspa Luitel concluded his externship with us on May 6th, and graduated from Vermont Law School on May 21st. Puspa was a dedicated and hardworking law clerk and we wish him all the best on his studies for the bar exam.
