Andy Montroll

Andy presented at a National Business Institute seminar on October 7, 2016, on boundary issues and easement law. He will be presenting again in December 2016 on land use and zoning issues.

Rob Backus

Rob and Mark hosted a pro bono legal clinic at the First United Congregational Church in Burlington on October 23, 2016. The next clinic will take place on November 20, 2016.

Rob attended a quasi-monthly meeting of Burlington Electric Department’s IRP Committee on October 24, 2016.

Since September 2014, Rob has coordinated a dinner every month for Dismas House in Burlington on behalf of First United Congregational Church. Dismas House is a supportive community for former prisoners transitioning from incarceration. Rob provided dinner and joined members for the meal on October 20, 2016.

Mark Oettinger

On October 12 and 13, 2016, Mark attended a reception for Slovakian Ambassador, Peter Kmec, and his subsequent presentation at the University of Vermont regarding the role of Slovakia in the European Union and in the world.

On October 26, 2016, Mark attended the biennial pro bono conference hosted by the Vermont Bar Association at the Statehouse in Montpelier. The focus of the conference was serving the legal needs of new Americans.
